Smith Ridge Campground Reviews
Checked in on a Sunday in June. Stayed 2 nights. Sites are nice and clean with plenty of space. Bathhouses are clean and always stocked. Very quiet place to stay. Mostly older folks and the host, Mr Curtis was very friendly and helpful. Went above and beyond. Lake access isn't great from site. But Marina close by and when the flood waters recede beach should open again. We would return.
Jun 17, 2025 · Bryant FamilyThe negative first. There is no water access from the campground. The water isn’t even visible. The one trail we chose to walk wasn’t maintained. If cell signal matters to you. ATT has no signal. The good, the sites were nice, level, clean as were the restrooms. It’s very peaceful and well maintained. Camp hosts were very nice.
Sep 02, 2024 · Dirk LangBeautiful campground! Site was secluded and surrounded by woods with lots of nature around. Beach is a 5 minute drive and very nice. We didn’t have wi-fi and phone signal was very minimal but it was nice to “disconnect” for a change. Bathrooms were clean and owners were very sweet. Will stay again!
Sep 02, 2023 · Lisa WawrzyniakWe absolutely loved our stay! Beautiful campground and the people who run it are so nice! We also got to meet the park ranger and he is very nice as well. They just installed water hookups at every site which is very convenient! They have individual showers outside of the bathroom that are 100% seperate from everyone else which I have never seen at a campground before, but I like it so much more than the ones that are usually in with the bathrooms. We will definitely be coming back here!
