This was my first time at this campground, but my boyfriend has been here multiple times. He has always said that he really likes it here mainly because of the mountain bike trails. I thought the spaces were nice, not too close, and overall the campground was pretty quiet at night. They did put a lot into making these sites level and convenient for the needs of the camper. The one downfall, especially since these are all electric only spots, there are no showers here so you have to drive to a different campground in order to get one. They also don't have a way to connect a hose to the water supply so that you can fill up your water when you run out. I did enjoy the woods and scenery here which I prefer when camping and the fact that Raystown Lake was within walking distance from this campground. There is also a Raystown Lake visitor center that you can drive to that has some pretty cool things to buy. I would definitely say this is a nice place to stay and camp at and although this area is most known for its mountain bike trails- fishing, kayaking or jet skiing are just some of the other activities you can do to keep busy too. So I'd say to definitely check out this campground! I know we will for sure be back. - Aubrey Freeze

Seven Points Campground - Valley Camp Loop offers a specific set of services tailored to its electric-only sites and proximity to natural resources. It’s important for campers to be aware of what’s provided to ensure a comfortable stay.

  • Electric-Only Campsites: All sites in the Valley Camp Loop provide electric hookups, catering to RVs and pop-ups that require power. This is a key feature, as it means campers should be prepared with their own water supply.

  • Quiet Environment: Campers consistently note that the campground is "pretty quiet at night," making it ideal for those seeking peaceful evenings under the stars.
  • Well-Maintained Spaces: The sites are described as "nice, not too close," indicating thoughtful spacing for a more private camping experience. The overall campground is neat and well-cared for.
  • Dump Station Access: While individual water hookups are not available at each site, access to a central dump station for wastewater is typically provided within the larger Seven Points Campground complex for RVs.
  • Potable Water Fill-Up: Though not directly at each site, there are likely designated areas within Seven Points Campground where campers can fill up their fresh water tanks before heading to their site, or as needed, given the "no way to connect a hose to the water supply" at individual sites. Campers should confirm these locations upon arrival.
