Sauk Park Campground Reviews
Stayed one night. Got a nice quiet spot away from everyone. And it was clean and not full of garbage. Porta potty was clean and saw the ranger drive through a few times. My site didn't have a table or specific fire ring, but someone had made a nice rock ring an a bench by it . Was A great stay. And only 15$ a night.
Jun 10, 2024 · Angie RichterI love this site. perfect little get away and not too far away. Also reasonably priced at just 10$ per night. the sites are well kept. picnic tables, fire pit and portable potty places nearby all sites. They do not have water and there's only one good river access trail and it's a bit steep. overall a great place to go camp.
Jun 05, 2023 · Krystal VanwinkleThere is a beautiful creek that is right on the edge of one of the campsites, it's amazing!
Nov 19, 2023 · Kiona SniderMay 11-12, 2024. Nice place although there are no rangers or cops that patrol. Drunken neighbors were up until 3 am and their generator ran until then too. There is was only 1 porta potty to service the whole campsite. $15 per night, no water but several garbage cans.
May 14, 2024 · Ric MerryAI have stayed several times over the years. Mixed bag. Sometimes it was marvelous, quiet and uncrowded. But summers not fun. Noisy people, undisciplined kids yelling late and cutting thru my site. 4th of July weekend forget it! People doing fires and fireworks when there's big signs right at the entrance against it.The sites are fine, first come first serve. Last time I went up someone parked their trailer two days before anyone ever came up. But I guess for $10/night people will do that and the County really doesn't care as long as they're making money.
