Rock Creek Campground Reviews
Beautiful campground in the forest with a babbling creek. Lee, the host was super kind, friendly and helpful. He stopped to greet us upon his return from town and explained how to get there to the beach. He also helped several other campers get situated comfortably and made sure there was plenty of toilet paper for us early risers. We look forward to returning! Thank you, Lee!
Jun 29, 2025 · Kathleen ImanThe campground is conveniently located off the Oregon Coastal Highway. The lots are small. So many trees my starlink barely worked. It has a nice babbling creek behind the lots.
Jun 09, 2025 · Sheri BeltzWe had a lovely night stay here on a drive up the coast. The sites are secluded, and most of the sites are right next to a stream which is a relaxing sound to fall asleep to. There isn't running water, but the vault toilet was the cleanest I've ever seen. Also, in close proximity to Cape Perpetua, which made it convenient for sunset photography. Absolutely hope to stay here again!
Jun 08, 2024 · Stephanie BransonThe worst experience I have ever had with a campground. Reserved a 3 night stay and got to our camping spot only to realize the host gave our camping spot to someone else before we had gotten there. Even though we payed for it. No refund and the host seemed to be intoxicated, and it was disgusting to see trash all over the place. Do not waste your money on this campsite unless you want ripped off!!
Aug 05, 2024 · Lana PruittWow! I just had to change my review. We have driven through this campground. Looking to see if they had any available spots. We have stayed there a total of 2 nights. There is a 14 day limit in the forest system. We have stayed a total of 10 nights in the entire forest system. We recently moved back home to Oregon. We have spent a lot of time enjoying nature with kids and grandkids. The park manager was so rude, she assumed we were homeless. Said we would be given a ticket and told to move along. She would not let is explain or speak. She even said this was not an alternative to affordable housing. We will not be going there again.
