Renfro Valley KOA Holiday Reviews
We planned a weekend away. Rented the cabin. Arrived to a dirty cabin. The linens were clean though. They only provide sheets for the couch bed and loft area. We left a blow up mattress for the next guest. Signs stated there were clean up fees. Strange… wasn’t clean to begin with.., the broom had no stick, the sponge was old and crusty. And let’s not forget the mouse feces all over the cookware. We purchased new and also left them behind for the next guest. I purchased a sponge, trash bags because they leave you with 1 extra, and a new broom. As for outdoorsy stuff… used to be super kid friendly, the bounce pillow was our favorite but it’s popped now. Playground seems to have been updated recently, it was nice. The pool is usually our go to, but was filthy with partials floating everywhere. I’d love to stay again but not sure I will. I am local so it was first choice. They did have a welcome night cookout, and I assume Sunday breakfast, but did not eat either.
Jun 26, 2025 · Chelsea DavisWe have been camping here for over 17+ years. It's been awhile since I've done a review. We've been close friends with numerous owners here and have met people that are still like family. We still camp and have reunions with friends we've met here! I love this park. It's a home-away-from-home for us and I've loved everyone I've met here. Tina, the office manager, goes out of her way to make this the best experience for everyone! She works so hard to keep everything perfect for the workers and campers here! Jay is one of the hardest workers I've seen and can do it all. We can't recommend this park enough. Although the prices have gone up quite a bit, it's worth a long weekend getaway, as there is so much to do in and around the park. Concerts, crafts, antiques and more, will keep you busy or just relaxing around the campfire! There are a few things that could be better maintained (more rock, asphalt repaired, trees trimmed, etc). But these are things I'm sure will come in time. Summer is now in full swing and I look forward to camping periodically from now through October! Thank you, Renfro Valley KOA Holiday!
Jun 06, 2025 · KWynne HensleyThis park is fine for overnight stays. The ground is mostly gravel with much of the paved areas needing replacement. It's lacking the paving, patios, and fencing of the fancier KOA parks. We just need a clean safe place to park overnight and this fit our needs. We paid $60 for 1 night and that was a good value.
Apr 01, 2025 · Pam CruzThe KOA is showing it's age, pull through sites need pad upgrading. The entrance and exit roads have a very steep grade but are in excellent condition. Water and electrical connections in good order. Sewer connections can be problematic, do to their location, positioning and the height for some some RVs. This is a problem at many campgrounds, not a negative of Renfro as you can't accommodate every make of RV. We would stay here again.
Apr 19, 2025 · Brian BWe stayed the night with kids and our dog. It was very nice site with a private dog pen on our site! We also had our own personal propane grill and concrete pad with patio furniture. There were a lot of activities for the kiddos! They had a movie night the night we spent there for our kids with fresh popcorn and sunny D! They have several other crafts/activities we were interested in but we had to return home. Areas that need improvement: 1) the jumping pad isn't working properly due to multiples holes 2)the water pressure was not good for site 60 causing our on demand water heater to not work properly 3) pool loungers are in need of repair/replacement.All and all a good trip with a caring staff!Just a few maintenance issues. My expectations are high considering I'm staying at a KOA.
