My family and I spent two nights camping here in tents in July. The weather was lovely. It was warm during the day and cooled off a bit at night. My family was comfortable in our sleeping bags, but I did want the rain fly on our tent for a little extra warmth on the second night. The bathrooms always had toilet paper and paper towels. They almost always had soap too. My husband said the men's didn't have soap the first day, but did after that. Cell service was non-existent, so I'd download whatever map you need to get there/back before leaving home. The reservoir is beautiful. The water is very clear, and my children enjoyed building a bridge with rocks, and attempting to skip the flat stones. We wished we had brought our swimsuits. Something came by our tents the first night, but I didn't see it. Don't think it was big enough to be a bear. Saw lovely flowers, and some birds but nothing bigger than that. We would go back. - Candace Neumann

The insights from previous visitors regarding wildlife, specifically bears, are incredibly valuable.
