Pushaw Lake Campground Reviews
Friendly staff. Nice place. The dirt road to the place needs work. Great place to bring a camper or rent the cabins.
May 27, 2025 · Chuck pOne of the best campgrounds in penobscot went there last year stayed in the cabin for a week my son got the biggest pike ever
May 30, 2025 · MAE BEARWow, just WOW! This place is absolutely Beautiful!!!However tje one thing i was not so crazy about is that everyone is so packed in together that there is absolutely NO privacy between camp sites. But aside from that I enjoyed my time visiting my Mom & her Husband. The beach was beautiful, the restrooms/showers were very clean, and over all our visit was amazing!! I definitely will be making another visit very soon, & maybe, just maybe I can convince my husband to go camping for a week or just the weekend next summer!!
Jul 22, 2024 · Alyssa BretonMs Kim is nice and loves the kids. She has many activities throughout the summer for the children including Easter egg hunts and Christmas in July. They have horseshoes and fishing. I never caught anything but that's my luck🤷♂️.
Sep 25, 2024 · Stephen RawlinsI like this campground, but it has many needs to get a great review. Starting with the road into the campground. It's horrible. Full of potholes and mud when raining. Brush growing in on the sides making passing an oncoming vehicle impossible without dragging brush down the sides of your camper. Bathrooms have two toilets that doors will not lock and at times backed up. Has showers also. Camp sites are tight and close together. Large pine trees encroach all lots. Branches fall frequently. Most lots are taken by seasonal renters. Has a nice beach, horse show pits, pavilion, game room, playground. Has a sewer dump and a portable dump service that comes around. Drainage is horrible. When raining water runs through all lots and some get flooded. On-site management, nice people but overwhelmed with issues. Nice food options at grill. Small boat launch, rocky and narrow. Rocks in the launch everywhere. Watch your prop until far out in the lake. Nice bass fishing. Shallow, weedy lake. Prices fair. Friendly people.
