Pride RV Resort Reviews
Customer Service is horrible. We had an incident with our window being shattered by the campgrounds maintenance person. First off, the first thing that came out of Lindsay (the office persons) mouth was you signed a form releasing us from any incidentals. Then only apology I was received was due to the maintenance man's attitude. Second, no one came over to check to be sure everything was ok. Didn't offer anything. We had a one year old child who was having to sit outside our camper because he couldn't go inside due to the glass. I asked for a shop vac and at first the maintenance man said "let me go ask the boss". I then had to call back to see if I could get one so my one year old could crawl around in his camper. Lindsay advised me it was broken. Which with the way everything else had gone, I didn't believe for a second. Skip to today, it was been over a week later and I'm just now writing this because I wanted to think it over and do the right thing. Neither my husband nor I were rude to them. I then called today to get a copy of the form I signed for our insurance company. Then told Lindsay I tried to shake off how our situation was handled but I just couldn't. I feel as though they didn't care. We weren't even asking for them to pay for it. Just a simple, I'm sorry what I can do to help? They saw I had a one year old child. My conversation, today, with Lindsay turned into an argument. I expressed to her I didn't feel it was handled the right way. During this conversation, she told me they didn't have a shop vac after she told me before it was broken. One of the last things Lindsay told me, was "I was the only one in the office, we couldn't just stop our jobs and go gawk at your camper". Nobody was asking for to "gawk" at our camper, all I wanted was some help. And I got zero. I don't ever write reviews and we have gone to this campground before. They worked with us on our site and were very friendly with that, but if something goes wrong expect for zero responsibility to be taken. I would stay away if it was me. I know we won't be back, unfortunately. Also, the pool is very dirty. They had someone there working on it constantly, so I'm guessing the pump wasn't working effectively. I hate this experience happened and have liked it every other time we've been there, but when my one year is having to suffer for their mishap due to zero responsibility taken, it brings the frustration out. The campground is well kept for the most part and is nice, but Lindsay, the office staff, doesn't need to be a customer service position.
Jul 03, 2025 · Emilee HardinVacationing in Maggie Valley, NC with our 5th wheel, and have been wanting to try Pride RV Resort. Made our reservation 2 weeks in advance, woman on the phone could not have been any nicer, and was extremely helpful assigning us our site, turned out to be a very nice site. Beautiful park and so accommodating to all. Wonderful park for families, swimming pool, hot tub, putt putt golf, shuffle board, slide, swing set, sand box, Cable, Cafe for breakfast and lunch, bean bag toss, beautiful mature trees, Cabins you can rent, clean showers and restrooms, laundry mat, hope I didn’t leave anything out. Jonathon Creek runs through the park, Hurricane Helene wreaked havoc last year and the campground is still working on getting back to normalcy. Sites well maintained, we had a pull through which is so convenient. Had a great visit at Pride and highly recommend this park. Bob and Debbie/ Mich. Go Blue!
May 20, 2025 · Debbie HohnCampground location is nice, and seems to be a great place during prime season with the amenities offered. Only complaint is when I booked (the Saturday before arriving monday) they failed to mention (booked over the phone) on the G row next to the river that they were dredging the river. So from 8am to 5pm or so we have had to listen to a track machine dig the river, a dump truck, and other pieces of equipment all day and the exhaust fumes . I just wished it would have been suggested to stay on other side of park atleast away from the work on the river .
Mar 20, 2025 · Jason EdmondsIt honestly breaks my heart to see so many negative reviews on this campground. We have stayed here and could not be more happy or grateful. We have had 0 issues with anyone in management. On the contrary we have had nothing but positive interactions with all of them! This campground is more prestigious and therefore has very simple rules in which you are expected to follow. Which in my opinion they should have, because those rules are what keep this campground beautiful, fun, family oriented and safe. Their rules are very simple and SHOULD be easy for anyone to abide by. We are so grateful to have gotten to stay here. The people in management have treated us with kindness and respect from the moment we initially spoke to them on the phone. I would absolutely recommend this campground if you are looking forSomewhere, clean, safe, friendly, and full of accommodative amenities. We have LOVED our time here!!!!
