Potter’s Place Reviews
I came here for a night , to pitch up a tent at one of the provided tent only sites. The campground was very quiet . The owner was laid back and made sure I was able to find the site I wanted. The area is beautiful and what makes it shine is the nature trail system, large plots of open land and the pond. I enjoyed my stay and I will return again !
Jun 03, 2025 · Jamie Wilson (Digital Wilson)Love Potter's Place! We go every year over Memorial Day weekend. The owner is very laid back. The campers are friendly. You can be who you are with no criticism. Plenty of places to walk around. There are trails nearby if you are a fan of four wheeling. Not a place for children. It is adults only. There is a swimming pool. It's a great getaway from the hectic.
May 30, 2024 · Brenda JohnsonThey campground is meticulously maintained. It's wooded and private. The peole who camp there and the owner are super nice! What I didn't realize was how nice it was to camp at a place without children. It was so quiet -- except, of course, for the tree frogs and geese. They were loud - great music to sleep to!
Jun 01, 2023 · LynStayed at Potters Place last night. I could spend a lifetime there, unfortunately work moves us on. What a beautiful place! Plenty of room to navigate our 43 foot fifth wheel. Very quiet, peaceful. Enough space amongst the trees to make us feel like we were the only ones there. The front office area was nicely landscaped and well taken care of. We felt very well taken care of. Don’t hesitate. This place is a gem.
Sep 24, 2023 · Tweedle DotMy boyfriend and I stopped into Potters place just by chance during a road trip from Canada. We had intended on staying just one night but we loved the people and the grounds so much that we stayed another and another and another ! We’re tenters that usually camp in the middle of the woods off old logging roads. The grounds are well kept and very unique, the seasonal campers are welcoming and I can’t say enough good about the owner Tom. Having a camp ground without kids was very refreshing. We’re already planning our next trip in the fall and we’re definitely going to make a stop at Potters for a few nights.
