Visitors often commend the spaciousness of the campsites, many offering direct lake views, perfect for launching a personal pontoon boat or simply enjoying the scenery. As one camper noted about site 25, it was "Nice site with lots of space. Has a root bump in the pavement pad, but it actually leveled us on that side. It is a back in lake front and perfect for getting out personal pontoon boats to the water." This highlights the practical and enjoyable aspects that make this campground a recurring favorite for many.
It's important for prospective campers to know that Pine Meadows operates under specific U.S. Army Corps of Engineers regulations, including a strict alcohol prohibition. This rule, clearly stated during the reservation process, is in place to ensure a safe and family-friendly environment for all visitors. With nearly 100 sites, including options right on the lake, and amenities designed for comfort, Pine Meadows Campground is a wonderful choice for those looking to immerse themselves in Oregon’s natural beauty with peace of mind.

Pine Meadows Campground Reviews
All the complaints about this location are alcohol related, but the reservations page clearly states that it is a Corp of Engineer facility and Alcohol is Prohibited and you actually have to check the box that you have read and agree to the rules. We stayed in site 25. Nice site with lots of space. Has a root bump in the pavement pad, but it actually leveled us on that side.It is a back in lake front and perfect for getting out personal pontoon boats to the water.
Jun 28, 2025 · Loni BentonWe stayed from Friday to Monday.Sunday night the campground was almost empty.A group of local kids showed up. They rented the spot right across from up. They started out with 2 tents and 2 cars and as soon as the ranger made the last sweep, more cars and more kids. It’s Midnight. No one enforcing quiet time and they are loud and cussing constantly. I believe drunk and underage. Called sheriff. They didn’t come outFriday and Saturday were great tonight sucks.
May 19, 2025 · Tina GrahamGo here if you don't want to have fun. Park ranger was very rude and forced me to dump out alcohol in front of him, felt slightly belittling. He was constantly watching and monitoring us, and sneaking around in the dark. Dudes definitely on his high horse. You will have no privacy
Jun 14, 2025 · Shyla YoungDidn't find any bees this time, although I brought my own trap, there was a few traps scattered around the park. Came in on a Hot day and was swarmed by black/red beetles. Met two of the hosts which were friendly. No campsite walkthroughs but we're working on other projects. They need to rebuild swim area deeper as it's always out of water.
May 29, 2025 · Scott MyersI would give 0 stars. The “park ranger” aka rent a cop was a total jack-wagon targeting our group for “being loud” despite other groups around us being louder he even snuck around in the dark to try and catch us drinking alcohol what kind of lame camping sight doesn’t allow drinking anyways what’s the point. Save yourself the time and headache and go somewhere else
