Promotions or Special Offers

As a privately-owned campground, Pine Hollow Campground - Pownal VERMONT, focuses on providing consistent value through its amenities and scenic setting, rather than frequently advertised seasonal "promotions" in the commercial sense. However, for Vermont locals looking to plan their outdoor getaways, there are several ways to understand the pricing structure and potential value offerings, based on typical campground operations and the provided information:

  • Tiered Site Rates: The campground offers a variety of site types, with rates varying based on the amenities provided (e.g., water/sewer/electric full hookups vs. water/electric only vs. dry tent sites). This inherent tiered pricing allows campers to choose an option that best fits their budget and needs. For instance, dry tent sites might start around $40/night, while full hookup pull-throughs can be up to $62/night, giving guests control over their cost.
  • Daily Guest Fees: While not a discount, it's important to note the clear pricing for additional guests. Rates typically include four people per site, with an additional charge of $3 per person daily (for day guests who must leave by 10 p.m.) or $6 per person for overnight guests. This transparency helps in planning your budget.
  • Monthly and Seasonal Rates: For locals or those planning extended stays, Pine Hollow Campground offers significant discounts for longer commitments. Full-time monthly rates from May through October (water, sewer, 30 amp) are approximately $675 per month plus electric. There are also "Summer Monthly" rates (weekends & two weeks between May and October) for around $625 per month plus electric. These long-term options represent a substantial saving compared to nightly rates. Winter storage for RVs is also available.
  • Good Sam Club Discount: As a Good Sam Verified Campground, members of the Good Sam Club can typically expect a 10% discount on nightly rates. This is a common and valuable ongoing "promotion" for RV enthusiasts.
  • No Holiday Discounts (But Clear Pricing): Holiday weekends (Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Columbus Day) typically have a 3-night minimum stay requirement and full payment upon booking. While no special discounts are offered for these peak times, the clear upfront pricing helps with planning.
  • Early Check-in/Late Check-out Fees: While fees apply ($3/hour for early check-in, $5/hour for late check-out), these services offer flexibility for campers who need it, acting as a convenient amenity rather than a direct discount.

For the most current rates and specific availability, it is always recommended to visit the official Pine Hollow Campground website or contact them directly. The value offered by this campground comes from its beautiful setting, comprehensive amenities, and friendly service, making the rates a worthwhile investment for a quality Vermont camping experience.
