Peaceful Woodlands Family Campground Reviews
Our first time out in our camper, we decided to stay local. Luckily Peaceful Woodlands is only 5 minutes away from us! Such an awesome area to stay for the weekend. The staff was very friendly. We already have our next trip booked and can’t wait to be back in a few weeks!
Jun 10, 2025 · Justin ZrelakI went to this campground for Memorial Day Weekend 2025. Beforehand, we were notified about the absence of outdoor grills by the campsites. Fair enough. However, the cabin didn't even have an electrical outlet nor running water outside of the cabin like all the other campgrounds I have been to. I was disappointed by that set of issues. The lack of electrical outlets would have been helpful for me to use my electrical griddle outside to prepare the food. Furthermore, I felt like we were at a motor speedway with all of the ATV's being ridden and the collective noise that was going on there and it further detracted from the experience. Our cabin also wasn't fully finished with the lack of insulation on the roof and in the floor which was cold due to the lack of insulation there. As I was storing my things under the beds, I noticed that the floor boards were not put in underneath the beds either. I didn't get to truly relax and feel like I was fully decompressing from the everyday work life of mine. Unfortunately I'm once and done with this campground.
May 26, 2025 · Paul SanjurjoVery nice Famcamp. Just FYI need better directions as to new and old part of park. Our first time we were pleased with the nice long pads.New part water/marsch views and the Restaurant convenient with nice views
Jun 08, 2025 · Diane McCullochIf you like rest and relaxation- head on over. So peaceful. Staff are super nice and helpful. Cute little store on site. Love the dog park!
Apr 26, 2025 · Melanie DiGroup camping trip. The drive there was breathtaking for my grandsons who had never seen mountains in real life. I arrived late to find the office closed (early Sunday hours). Before my anxiety had a chance, two women appeared. They happily welcomed us, opened the gate, and provided directions to our group's site. Loved the location because the sites were well spaced. The cabins are beautiful inside. The porch was the community center. Women chatting and men cooking. Made me think of life when humans had more respect for and lived in harmony with nature. Everyone sat around campfires - adults and children together. It was wonderful seeing teenagers choose verbal communication, NOT hovering over a cell phone. My family and I will be returning in the spring to experience nature awakening.
