★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Our family had a wonderful time here. We didn’t bring a horse so I can’t comment on that part, but the new horse stalls did look very nice. The campsite was clean, well maintained, and quiet. Great mix of grassy areas and tree cover. The site manager, Branson, was responsive, laid back, and accommodating. We were anywhere from 10-25 minutes from local attractions (although we saw many horse trails much closer for those bringing a horse). There are 3 clean bathrooms with private showers at the front office building, and the “outhouse” bathrooms closer to the campsites were also clean. The one recommendation would be better lighting in the outhouse toilets. There is a motion sensor light for night time, but during the day it is still very dark without a lantern. The site was extremely peaceful with no town or road sounds at all. Birdsong accompanied the sunrise each day. I’m sure this place will start to fill up once more people find out about it. It’s a great little campsite and definitely better maintained than most I’ve been to!
May 20 · Dana PortilloLoved the campground! Trails were up the road but wasn't a bad ride and close to Buck Canyon that is a cool quick ride. Very clean grounds , easy parking and the stalls were super nice.
May 27 · JENNIFER ChryslerHad a great stay on a gorgeous weekend in May! Our campsite was clean, well maintained and safe. The manager on duty was available, helpful and friendly.
May 20 · Jeremy PortilloFirst time staying here under the new ownership and this campground is better than ever! Really appreciated the new horse stalls and refurbished cabin.Maintenance was super proactive - muck was removed promptly and the place looks great overall.Only things that would make it better are a hot tub and more direct trail access! Overall very happy will stay here again.
October 28 · Erin Ryder HsuLovely campground! Electric and water convenient - Stalls were great too. Just a little road riding to get on the trails, doable but it takes a while to get into the park trail system so you have to add the return ride part into your overall hours. But Buckskin Canyon trail is right off camp propery - just not quite long enough for a whole days ride. Folks all very friendly and accommodating. The good thing for us horse people is that that side of the trails has very few hikers on it! Badger cave cool as was the artesian well. Lots of sites to see! B scott
