Old Pavilion RV Camp Ground Introduce
Old Pavilion RV Camp Ground, often referred to as Ms. Lynn's Old Pavilion RV Park, is a cherished, family-owned coastal retreat nestled on the beautiful Gulf of Mexico in Perry, Florida. Established in 1997, the park has long served as a peaceful getaway for Florida residents and travelers seeking a quiet, natural environment with direct access to water recreation. It operates year-round, offering accommodations for both short-term nightly stays and longer-term monthly rentals.
This campground is not a high-traffic resort, but rather a "no-frills" park where the main attraction is the breathtaking waterfront location. Guests can enjoy the spectacular sunsets and the serene atmosphere of the Taylor County coast, known for excellent fishing, scalloping, and birdwatching. It’s a place where the staff and fellow campers create a friendly, familial environment, making guests feel right at home on the Gulf.
It is important for potential visitors to know that the area, including the park itself, was significantly impacted by **Hurricane Helene in September 2024**. According to recent customer reviews, while the park is open and functional with full hookups available, recovery efforts are ongoing. The physical appearance may not match pre-storm website images, reflecting the hard work of the management—specifically the man who runs the park, Spyridon Aibejeris, who is highly recommended by guests—to restore the facilities and grounds. Visitors should anticipate a resilient, recovering community and a focus on essential services and core coastal activities.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We enjoyed our stay here. This place doesn’t look like their website because it was a direct hit from hurricane Helene in Sept 2024. But it has full hookups, and it’s right on the beach. Great fishing, kayaking, swimming. Staff is super friendly and so are the other guests. We felt like family here. Dogs welcome. There are no close restaurants, bars but they are 30 min away. It’s a great place to go for peace and quiet, and water fun!

March 31 · Renecitoeltiburon RivaIf you are looking for a place to unwind, unplug and be as you are, this is the place. We stumbled upon this gem and decided to take the 2.5 hour drive and stay in our new camper. It was hands down the most relaxing place. It was something honestly we didn’t know we needed. We brought our bikes, rode down to the beach, fished, cooked out and enjoyed the incredible sunsets every night. We throughly enjoyed Ms. Lynn and Spy too. All the spots had a view of the gulf, and everything was well maintained. Make sure you have everything you need as there aren’t any shops around or restaurants but to be honest it was so refreshing to get away from all the literal hustle and bustle that life has become. We will definitely be back and are so grateful to have found this gem.
February 12 · Amanda Dlouhy BaileyStunning sunsets. The hurricane has destroyed this family owned campground. They are slowly reconstructing 5-6 sites at a time at a very high cost due to all the updated building codes. We paid full price for our site to help with the costs to rebuild and spent time and $$ at local vendors.
March 04 · Donna BarruzzaThis is an amazing place to watch a sunset, we had a water front spot and we completely enjoyed the views. Our camp host was very helpful getting us a place last minute. This is a remote campground with a few places to go, a small beach area 2 blocks away and a small convenience store 2 blocks in the other direction. They don’t take credit cards so bring cash. We only stayed 2 nights but it was perfect for a relaxing place to stay.
