★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This is a small, nice little campground. Lots of space between campgrounds, most spaces are easy to get in and out of with a 30ft trailer. Clean bathrooms. When we were there the camp host where very nice. Fees are $20 a night, $10 for extra vehicle. Lots of shade. The North Fork Big Wood River is very nearby for a little bit of cold swimming or fishing. Watch for bears🐻.
July 22 · Steve LangdonGreat little campground. First come, first served. Current non-discounted rate is 20$/night. Potable water pump and very, very clean vault toilets. Drive in and pick a site and the camp hosts will find you for registration/payment. The hosts do a great job taking care of the campground. While you are there, be sure to take a short walk up the road to the bridge and enjoy the sights and sounds of the North Fork of the Big Wood River flowing by.
June 09 · ID SummitGirlGreat small FS camground between Ketchum and Galena Lodge trail mtb area. On FS road behind the SNRA OFFICE. 11 sites total but camp host occupys one site so only 10 available. $16 rate and senior discount is $8 nite. All sites are backin and are good for medium to large TTs. Pressurized water at a couple standpipes, vault toilet, trash dumpster. Contractor camp-host on-site (RMMA). Cell LTE is available here due to lucky setting but rest of cgs along the hwy north have no cell signal. In addition there is a free RV dump down the road 1/2 mile. 1.2 miles past the SNRA office and is a good graded gravel rd access. The NF Wood River is adjacent to the CG and is a great place to wade and cool off the dogs!Note: Caribou C G up the road is much tighter and NOT suitable for med to large trailers, better suited to tent and van campers...
July 22 · Greg D. LindSo my wife and I came in on July 3rd down the road and no sites anywhere. The camp host from Murdock happened to be there and told us one site was open and to hurry. 5 minutes later we were there in a nice shaded spot and spent 4 beautiful days hiking, fishing and going to some nice hot springs in the area. 3 beautiful towns near by. Went to 4th parade and the rodeo/fireworks in Hailey and it was a great time.
July 17 · Shaun ShecoraExcellent campground! No hookups however 1/4 mile down the dirt rd is a dump station/water fill. Very quiet spacious sites! Lots of trails to hike around the area. 10 minutes to the town of Ketchum. First come first serve drive in pick a spot that's not occupied and they will seek you out it's approximately $18 per night . Worth every penny! Stayed 4 days. Should have stayed longer. Will definitely stay here again.
