This is a woman owned and operated campground. The property is beautiful, the glamping tents are awesome and the primitive sites are great! It is a wonderful place to disconnect from the stresses of your daily life and enjoy the outdoors! Do some hiking, sit around the campfire, look at the night sky, the stars are amazing! And if you need a place to stay for Floyd Fest, this is it!
Jul 09, 2024 · Rennie BrunoThinking about going camping? This is the place to go! Take your tent, camper, rent a glamp site, or rent the vintage Airstream. You can't go wrong with whatever you choose. We pitched our tent during our first trip, and got a glamp site on our second visit. The glamp site was fantastic; cozy yet spacious, adorably decorated, and the bed was super comfy. There was a fire pit, and the host provided skewers for roasting marshmallows! The land is gorgeous and it's so peaceful and quiet. On a clear night, you can see millions of stars and the Milky Way! After star gazing, the frogs will lull you to sleep. During our first weekend at Muddy Creek, we hung around the campsite and caught up on some much needed "R and R." During our second stay, we went tubing down the LIttle River with On the Water in Floyd (highly recommend), and walked around the nearby quaint town of Floyd. The campground owner was extremely accommodating and went the extra mile to make our stay memorable. Muddy Creek offers something for everyone! We are already planning our next visit! Hope to see you there!
Jul 12, 2024 · Tara DavidsonA respite from the day-to-day within a quick drive to Floyd or Roanoke. We stayed at Muddy Creek with our kids and dog. The kids spent the entire time setting up camp, running through the fields, building a campfire, cooking over the fire, and catching fireflies. Muddy Creek Campground and Farm has so many options, whether tent camping, hauling a camper, or staying in one of the glamp tents. Highly recommend you plan your next family or solo getaway at this little slice of heaven!
Jul 09, 2024 · Ruth CassellWe just stayed here for Floyd Fest and feel like we hit the jackpot! The campground was a very short drive from the festival. The property is gorgeous and private! The owner checked on us a couple times to make sure we had everything we needed and made us feel right at home. Definitely recommend and will definitely be back! Can’t say enough great things about our experience!
Jul 28, 2024 · Amanda ScottBeautiful property! Stayed here for Floyd Fest. Gentle rolling hills on the drive in. Camping spots on a slight slope but nothing like FF. Only needed a few boards to level up my Class B. The glamping options looked amazing! Nice clean port o pottys with washing station available. Peaceful, got great sleep. Will visit again for sure!
