Mountain Lake Camping Resort Reviews
One of the cleanest, well keep campgrounds we have visited. Pool, waterslides, developing rec hall, small arcade, muffin delivery. And more. Beautiful view looking out at the lake. Located off of a busy road. There is road noise..night time very quiet. We travel with trailer and van. Campground also has adorable cabins! Laundry was quite reasonable and well maintained, shower had good pressure and temperature. And well thought out hooks and shelf. Definitely a must visit again place
Jun 03, 2025 · Amy GustavsonThe whole experience here was great! From the people in the office to the check-in people to the groundskeepers everyone is very friendly and accommodating. The Grounds here are absolutely immaculate. Highly recommend!!!
Jun 10, 2025 · Paul BengtsonBeware this place has rules rules and more rules. Lockdown is 10:30pm. Or else ! No music ever. No talking after 10:30pm. Fire out by midnight. Or else the gestapo will pay you a visit.Highly suggest you skim through the rules before booking.I have no patience for campgrounds like this. Take your rules and shove them where the sun doesn’t shine. Thanks
May 26, 2025 · The GuyThis was the perfect place for a family gathering for 4 nights. We had our 3 separate spaces but plenty of together time, especially in the clean, warm, pool. The kids-- boys 7 and 5, and twins 7 loved the water slides at the pool as well as being in the lake. The cabins were clean and as described on the website. We had a day at Santa's Village, which is a 15 minute drive away. Another fun place for this age kids. The showers and bathrooms are kept clean. There is a laundry. The best part, though, is the feeling I get being there. The staff is so helpful and attentive. They are quick to address any problems, and their leadership sets the tone for a family friendly, secure-feeling campground. I heard about this place from a friend and highly recommend it.
Jul 12, 2024 · Cynthia KnowlesI wanted to love this campground. From all the positive reviews, I was so excited for my family to enjoy a vacation. However, this was a one and done.ProsThe water slides were a hit with our 8 yr oldNice playgroundConsThis campground is right off the road so that parts can be seen while traveling on a busy route. Our site was close to the route and I could hear constant traffic. Instead of having a relaxing retreat in the woods- I could hear constant noise. It’s quieter in my own backyard! ( just putting it out there for anyone who may be like me and really wants to just hear the sounds of nature )No activities for the kids( As a camping resort I thought there would be some daily fun for the kids, bingo, crafts, etc.) but they have them on Saturdays and the Sunday we were there they had one craft which cost 8 dollars per child- but they didn’t let us know about the cost until we got thereThe lakeI think it’s actually a pond and my kids even stated the water felt “murky” and yes we have swam at plenty of lakesFishingCrowded little dock and nobody seemed to catch anything the whole tripOf course these are just some of our experiences and thoughts. Everyone of course looks for different things in a campground! Everyone was very friendly and the grounds are well taken care of. But like I said for our family, it was one and done!
