Jul 31, 2021 · EvilBunnieNot kid friendly at the sites lots of broken glass, the fish was okay could not kayak to the back lake had to drive around and unload. Lot of small bass. Only say bluegill on the front lake. This is a top water lake (frog) fishing. The spill way was sweet and clean great spot to swim. I'm only giving it two stars because I was hoping for better quality fish and didn't expect it to be so choked out with weeds. Hard lake to fish even in a kayak.
Jul 26, 2020 · Ryan RodgersA life time of memories. Stinks u have to pay now but still the cheapest overnight prices around. Good place for family hiking to picnics to swimming around the dam that leads to a good stream for catching a lot of different fish or just playing with the crawfish. Peaceful place to just go and relax.
Jul 14, 2018 · Eric PritzlI liked that the site where private but man was the site we got trashed fire pit full of plastic and trash. There was broken glass everywhere we spent most of the first day cleaning the site from the last people. Cool water hole but not much to do besides that. Can’t beat the 10 bucks a night though. Glade to say that since I’ve left my review it’s gotten a lot better!! Just need people brag care.. almost every tree has Hammock ropes rapped around them!! Update the sites have gotten better but still all the trash if you walk in the woods around your site is just ridiculous!! Love how cheap it is and how remote. Lots of locals also around deer season act like it’s (there area) we been hunting here for 20 years!! Don’t care if it’s state land there the reason why we always go back!! UPDATE!! Minnie pond is getting better! Cleaner sites pit toilets have gotten better!!
