Marble Campground - Meri Daes Reviews
Nice campground, clean and with great amenities. Some noisy traffic during the day but quiet in the evening and night hours. Overall recommended.
Jun 29, 2025 · Chris WolffWe met the best, most friendly people here. We were tent camping. Most of the folks at the campsite had converted vans or campers. It was fun to hear the stories as to why we all thought it was the ideal campsite. None of us want to pack too many things in our car if we don't think we can weather the storm. We did reserve our campsites, but only three of us were able to make the drive up from Denver. We had one tent, three cots, sleeping bags, and enough layers to handle the elements. Thankfully, this small town kept one special place open up until dark. We were able to share some drinks, a few snacks, and lots of laughter, making our way back to our campsite. For some weird reason, I think we thought dark meant it was quiet hours. I am always the person that sets up the tent in the direction of things we can hear and see. The bathrooms/showers were great. They are a little rugged...as they should be. Sometimes stumbling in the dark is when you truly find "your tribe!"
Aug 14, 2024 · Nikki BrayThis campground is right in the middle of Marble, CO. it is simple but with nice spots available with hookups. This campground has nice bear proof trash cans located in several places, a dump station. A lovely campground host named Richard will assist you with any needs you may have. There is 2 restrooms with shower stalls. They are well kept, old but managed well. Flip flops will be a good choice to take with you for a shower. No provisions are supplied except hand soap, TP, Paper towels. It is walking distance to the old Mill site and downtown Slow Groove BBQ and the Hub coffee shop. It was quiet with easy access.
Aug 19, 2024 · JoAnn SeeleReservation 08/23-25/2024. This campground has amazing amenities & is a great retreat away from home. Richard is an amazing host & he keeps the place very clean for the guests. The tent sites are a bit rocky so be prepared when putting up a tent. Camping sites are on top of each other, so be prepared for noise. When reserving our spot, we got confused about the OHV fee & thought it was a fee to rent for a few hours- Richard was very kind to explain the cost is for parking the OHV & was accommodating enough to refund us. Lastly, we wanted to bring our little dog, which on the website says dogs are allowed. However, upon getting our confirmation email, it said no dogs allowed, which we didn’t question since we figured that was the most up-to-date information regarding the campground. We left a day early since we missed our dog, Ollie.
