Log Lake Campground Reviews
Had a great time this weekend at Log Lake campground. It was close to Traverse so we enjoyed the Cherry festival. The host was kind and accommodating. Bathrooms were clean. Lake was peaceful and clean. Will be back!
Jun 29, 2025 · Erica HennardThe new manager is amazing and kind! Had the best time camping for a week. So relaxing. Caught lots of fish and rode the trails. Absolutely perfect!
Jun 18, 2025 · Salina ToweryEven though this campground is small, the manager Sarah is awesome. She cares about each person, checking to be sure you are safe & have everything you need. We have camped at large nationally known campgrounds but NEVER encountered a more genuine person. A storm was coming & she visited every camper to be sure they knew about the storm & where a safe place was in the event the storm was threatening. She is always available, willing to do anything to help. The grounds were great too. The lake was right out your door. Wow, what a gem this place is!
Jun 22, 2025 · Dona KernThis little campground was wonderful and a hidden gem. Manager very personable and friendly. Quiet and peaceful. Lake is spring fed and very clear!
Jun 29, 2025 · ann voigtThe people that ran the place were nice! The Campground Should Be CLOSED and Just made into a Park. Campsites Small, Strange Layout, Really Dusty! It's a Public Park So people from town come and go Swimming! Couldn't wait to leave! Overbooked, Called the Next day to Cancel One Lot the City of Kalkaska Would Not Give me my Money back,,! Cost me a fortune to camp there for a week. Left 3 days in. Thanks Kalkaska!! DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS CAMPGROUND AT ALL!!!! 😞
