★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1A very cool little camping spot! Kayaking out on the lake was wonderful and our site being right on the water was perfect. Restrooms and showers were pretty nice for a campground. The Echo Cliff trail was right across from our site and is a must-do, a spectacular view. There’s also many cool mosses and mushrooms along the trail. The view of the stars at night was amazing, and all of the little toads were very cute. We came in July and expected it to be crowded but it was not and the crowd there was very chill. We drove 11 hours from Indiana to camp here and we recommend!
July 17 · Sophie LovellFirst time visiting the campground. We used a tent for our stay. I have visited other parks where you must stay in your area so your stuff can be there safely. The site was clean, a little bit of an incline, so make sure your camper or tent is level. The bathroom was very clean, I was very happily surprised by this, as you don't see that in public restrooms. They had a shower, too. The views were beautiful as most sites have access to the water. It was easy to check in and out. It was safe since we went on hikes, and when we came back, everything was still there.Dogs are allowed, but please, keep them on a leash and pick up their waste after they are done. Also, don't play with them if they are going to bark after 10 pm. Just be considering of the people around your site.
September 04 · Bo ZunBeautiful spot. Sites vary quite a bit in size and privacy. It seems the higher the site number, the more spread out they are but that's not true for all of them. Water sites have steep banks and heavy foliage blocking the view and access to the water. The first bathroom is a hole in the ground however the middle bathroom is nicer and well maintained. Plan ahead or you will be driving 15 miles to replace forgotten items, however, its a nice quick drive with plenty of ice cream shops in town.
July 10 · l archerReally great campground. A hidden gem. Most sites are on the water with beautiful views. The staff are so friendly and had pots of flowers everywhere, everything was clean, came around in the evening to give treats to my dog and candy to kids. Overall an amazing experience - one of my favourite campgrounds.
June 14 · Ekaterina PotapovaAbsolutely wonderful. Such a little gem of a campground. My siblings and I get our families together every year for a group camping trip and this year we visited Little Sand Point park. If you’re looking for a basic park with great staff you should stay here. Try to get a lake side spot. Note, the showers are across the street so they’re not super convenient but they have signs and a cute little path to them.
