Lakeside Fire Campground Reviews
Fees, fees and more fees! We have a family of 6 and one of my kids are now an adult so we had to pay for the extra kid and adult per day. More than 1 car per site per day fee, want to bring your dog? Fee per dog per day. Visitors coming just to hang out at your campsite?? You guessed it per person fee oh and dont forget the fee for their car too. And the list goes on. Campsites are very nice and large, staff is very helpful and friendly. Speed limit is strictly enforced, I appreciated that especially with all the kids running around. We have been here many times and like the facility but the extra fees will prob keep us from coming back.
Jun 24, 2025 · Courtney WolfertMy son absolutely lives it at your campground. He’s an 11 year old fishing maniac! We’ve been coming to Lakeside for the last 4 years and your proximity to Lake Petenwell is perfect. When we aren’t fishing he’s wandering the grounds looking for all of your cats, he lives them too! Very friendly staff and such a wonderful place. Keep it up!

The pool is the perfect temperature when real hot outside.Small dog park, right next to the chicken coop. Fishing pier by the very large community fire pit. Gaga ball, carpet ball and large jump pillow.Location was great. We had a shooting competition at WTA grounds, that was only 10 minutes away.Overall great place to camp.
Jun 23, 2025 · Tina BarkulisThey were awesome to work with as we had to cancel and change our dates from last year do to the fact one of the family had to have major surgery and was not physically strong enough to make the trip. It was nice to get away! Loved the idea of the dog park area.. the dogs met friends and were able to be off leash and run energy off.. Thanks to the Perm. Camper that brought Winston to the park :)
Jun 19, 2025 · Mark WebsterThis place is very nice. New jump pillow was a hit for the kids. Nice inflatables on the swim pond for the kids who love them. Was really nice not having much vehicle traffic in the campground. Felt like I could let the kids be more free without the constant worry of cars.
