Lake Linden Campground Reviews
Very nice little campground. We stayed for 10 days. Enjoyed the amenities. Bathrooms were always clean and plenty of paper products. Showers were good as well. The drain in the women's shower needs cleaning out, doesn't run down very fast. Wish there had been 50 amp power on #5 site, but it worked for us with 30 amp. Loved the 2 mile hikes most every day. Nice and quiet. Will be back when in the area. Thank you for the stay
Jun 27, 2025 · Jean KotilaOverall a great little park. Our site (#12) was level but all sites seem pretty narrow. Beach and lake were nice. Bathrooms were always clean. Lots of playground equipment for kids. It connects to the city park which had basketball and tennis courts. Our kids played the disc golf course. We used this park as a base and visited a lot of areas in the keweenaw. Copper harbor is about an hours drive. Calumet was about 15 minutes. Douglass houghton falls about 10 minutes. 20 minutes to Houghton.A couple of cons:1. There seemed to be a lot of people with dogs off leash in this park and there is no park ranger (like state parks) to complain to. We had one dog try to get on to our picnic table while we were making dinner.2. There is a code for the bathroom which I recommend asking for before you arrive.3. As mentioned, the sites are pretty narrow and you feel like you are sitting right next to your neighbors when you are at the campground. This would be great for a group.
Jul 07, 2024 · Jen ArmstrongPhenomenal week here. Great camp hosts. Great campers. Clean bathhouse. Good laundry and restaurants within walking distance. A good place to base camp while you venture the peninsula also.
Jun 05, 2025 · Corbin BrutonThis is a nice little campground. I have stayed at a couple of the tent sites before. They have nice gravel driveways and grass pads to pitch your tent on. Rates are extremely reasonable. Highly recommended!
Mar 25, 2025 · Alex de la TorreThe Camp Host have been a lot of help and friendly. It's a small campground with a nice beach and play area. Within walking of a bigger playground and into town.
