★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Lots of sites with some decent shade but not too many obtrusive trees. The sites can be very slanted at times but it’s usually back to front. Bathrooms are clean and there is good fishing, a beach, bike riding, family cabins, and Lincoln boyhood home national park across the road. Summertime is usually full of folks going to Holiday World, so it can get very busy in summer. We have a camped here a couple of times now because it’s fairly close and we really like Indiana State Parks.
May 11 · Rod DowellAdded information some sites have electric and water at the RV sites call or check website for more information. The campground host or registration check in can give more individual information. Check out the historical information within the State Park about the memorial site of Lincoln. Most campground sites are space apart and have fire / grill/ pickneck tables. We stayed here for 5 days enjoy every day tranquil setting. Cellphone service with AT&T and T-Mobile 2 bars, Restrooms and showerhouse was clean daily. This State Park has historical information within Lincoln State Park.
August 20 · Ron BarnesClose to Holiday world, Lincoln’s boyhood home. Beach looked nice, we didn’t go there. There were nice sites, ours just wasn’t one of them. On a slant and there were so many trees that had been leveled, leaving hard areas all over where we had to walk. Hard to set up a tent with the slope, only place fairly level was near the road and the ground has a layer of rock under it, we busted multiple stakes trying to secure the tent. No wifi and can’t burn your own wood? (Some) of the sites are small, and kids can’t ride bikes after dark. Compared to other campgrounds, our least favorite so far. Sorry, just not a good experience, not planning to return.
August 05 · Candy HoehneGreat campground. Staff very helpful. Water hookup has very soft water. Easy access to lake, walking paths near the lake, Lincoln's boyhood home. An easy drive to Santa Claus, a winery, a brewery and monasteries.
July 17 · Relax RV Podcast (Relaxrn)Great park the showers should be able to be adjusted. Very hot for younger kids. Even to hot for some adults.
