Nature, bugs, and relaxation. We came to the campsite ready to relax and soak up some sun with a few walks and a little work on the road. The campsites are a little close together which wasn't too big of a deal for us as they were all mostly shaded with a beautiful view of the lake. EVERYONE was fishing and was catching things here and there. There's an island to explore and a lot of kind people when we went. Even a bunch of rowdy youngins' next to our campsite were super chill and helpful and it was an all around nice and wholesome experience. There's close access to cars and some critters that do visit late at night but keeping the campsite clean and locking up the food should do fine ! Also be aware of Ticks in the right seasons. Even with the proper meds our boy came back with a few and even though we were in shorts my wife and I came home clean. 10/10. Also visit the pub. Awesome food and delicious beers worth the mini trip around the corner! - Christian Garcia
