Mar 30, 2025 · Hannah RoseThis place is amazing! The care takers of the camp ground are so friendly and the camp ground itself is so peaceful. You can camp right on the side of the lake and spend your time watching eagles, deep, and other wildlife from the comfort of your chair. I have been coming here for years and it has honestly become my happy place to escape the noise and bustle of the city and daily life. You will not be disappointed if you come here for a relaxing weekend.
Jun 13, 2023 · Will FelicianoI LOVE THIS PLACE! Amazing views. Amazing camping. Amazing staff! If you want to experience a truly amazing get away...this is it. Not your typical state built and staffed facility...this privately owned and run campground has a lot of history behind it. Infact Concow itself has a very colorful history. Evenings are wonderful. The night sky is filled with stars..and the mornings are so beautiful. If you are laid back...and enjoy the finer but simpler things...you will be among friends here.
Jun 24, 2021 · Sean StevensA peaceful campground with a lot of trees. There’s a beautiful lake (Lake Concow) that has many bass and blue gill in it. Bank fishing only. No swimming is allowed and also fires are only allowed in a designated area, only at certain supervised times. There aren’t numbered spots like at many campgrounds so where you camp is up to you! ATT phone service works but not many other providers. The toilets are pit toilets and the showers aren’t hot as of yet. There’s day use and also over night camping use available. Tent or trailer camping, it’s up to you. I don’t think there’s a black tank dump out so you’d have to figure that out. They often have music festivals here in the summertime. It’s always a blast.
