King Phillips Campground & Resort Reviews
First time camping here and we enjoyed it. Campground is very nice, bathrooms are clean. Our site was a little small but we made it work. Pool looked beautiful but unfortunately we didn't get to use it due to the weather. All in all, we had a great time. Very laid back place, ladies in the store were very nice, and it was super close to lake george village which was nice since it rained and we were able to enjoy some other attractions nearby. Definitely will come back!
May 26, 2025 · Alison HarperEverything was clean and it was very quiet. Saw two turkeys coming in. Sites vary, we ended up moving from the assigned one as it was too close to a permanent set up, but staff is wonderful and accommodating! Nice single locking showers are very secure.Be sure to pick up your meat at Oscar’s Smokehouse in Warrensburg, it’s worth the extra few minutes drive!!
Jun 08, 2025 · Candace MackThis campground in serious repair, I was there for 1 week May 23 to June 1,2025. No internet No cable tv,new owners bought back in January there's no excuses why that work wasn't done prior to camping season. The ground workers that are there spend more time doing Nothing but smoking ,and there was only 3, for such big campground, they raised there rates that week to $102.00 per night for 50 amp service, for less service ie no cable or wifi. Sites are un even hard to level campers. But kicker ,I've been camping there for more than 35 years, I've always booked 12 months in advance with small deposit for both May and 3 full weeks in August, I spoke to new owner directly and he wanted payment In full about $1600 all upfront for 2026 and he informed me it would be non refundable deposit. That did not sit well with me , I went to wipperpool next door terms and Conditions were 180 degrees different the 2 brothers run that campground and are on site I hit it off with them, they book us for less money and campground is well kept and modern. That my final experience with Kingphillips campground.
Jun 05, 2025 · John ChoquetteIf you value your camper or motor home stay away. Was seasonal for 10 years. Requested 5 times for a dead tree to be cut down verbally and emails. They said they would take care of it. After 5 months of request tree came down and did 10k worth of damage to camper. They then said it was neighbors tree. I provided proof and t was there’s and crickets. Multiple dead trees in there, low hanging power wires. Stay away. Picture with blue dot is app I used standing on the stump of the tree that came down which clearly shows I’m on campground property.
Apr 28, 2025 · Pat DecrescenzoWebsite offered services unavailable (wifi and cable). We requested a discount or to leave a day early, we were told a no refunds. Many of the sites in the park are permanent and look terrible. This is a low end trailer park. Wouldn’t recommend or come back.
