Jaggers Point Campground Reviews
Overall a great campground! I didn't love that some of the trails could only be accessed by going through people's campsites or that this wasn't shown clearly online on the map. The pet sites were spread far enough apart but the regularly sites were pretty close to one another. The surrounding area was gorgeous, and there were quite a few trails to choose from, and the facilities were well maintained!
May 24, 2025 · Ariel PriceCamped out for a few days. Was nice and quite, though the bathrooms got trashed and weren't cleaned until the following day. Can't blame them for getting trashed, but they didnt come clean at 3pm as stated on the maintenance schedule. It was nice cause we were alone on the loop we stayes on, and i hotta say it gets dark as dark can be at night. Couldn't see anything once the darkness set it. The trails were well maintained and easy yo traverse, and lots to look at.
Oct 01, 2021 · pig hivGreat camping. Recently remodeled bathrooms, with hot showers. They were clean Friday, and by Sunday morning they were still ok. It was busy but ok. Camping sites are huge. We had 4 families and ended up only using two camping sites despite having reserved 4. Great place for a run, kids riding bikes, lake fishing and camping. There is a playground by the water side.None of the campsites have a lake view, so don't worry about renting the spots by the lake. The spots in the back are as good as the ones by the lake. I wish we had brought kayaks or a canoe.
Aug 07, 2019 · Rafael FlorestaPretty nice campground. Some features and designs make it friendly for those new to camping. Bathrooms with showers are nicer than other campgrounds but you should still expect them to be nasty with broken equipment. The sites are mostly close to each other so if you like having neighbors you’ll like it. The trails are really nice, not overgrown. This was our second experience camping, our first was in north Jersey and had multiple bear encounters. This park doesn’t seem to have bears. The park is surrounded by towns as opposed to being in the middle of a vast wilderness. One major issue was the ground, we had site 28 and the entire site is as rocky as can be. Not easy for tent stakes or sleeping on the ground without padding. If you are looking to camp and fish off the shore this isn’t the place for you, we learned that the hard way. Water access points are mostly muky and the lakes are shallow.
