Jack Nicol Cub Scout Camp Reviews
Got to admit my Eagle Scout bias. 😊 It is a lovely campsite. What is amazing is the transformation to accommodate families, girls and boys, and adult leaders. The new tents are great. However, the Scout Camp is adding new exciting Scout features including a pavilion, plenty of restrooms, comfortable accommodations for folks who are not Scouts but love the outdoors, and modernizing consistent with today’s camping view. Our youth love this Cub Scout Camp but will rock with the new activities being scheduled now. The location is breathtaking!
Aug 15, 2024 · George StevensTook my family up for a haunted Cub Scout camp out. There was a nice dining hall, craft light house, archery, wrist rockets, BB guns, and various activities to do throughout the property. Kids loved an old western fort and went wild playing inside. The ga-ga ball pit was also a hit.The canvas tents were nice but I heard they were colder than regular tents families brought up. The latrines were, well latrines. My only complaint was with the organization itself serving way too much candy and desserts and treats (all day long).
Oct 30, 2022 · Brooke ChristensenOur pack had a wonderful time at Camp Jack Nicol. The staff was great and our scouts enjoyed the activities they had planned. Great areas to hike and let the kids enjoy the mountains. Surprisingly, the food was really good, wasn't expecting that at camp. Highly recommended!
Jul 16, 2018 · Sean CondonIt was the first time me and my boy got to do a Cub Scout camp . The experience was amazing. The staff was absolutely incredible. I plan on trying to go again this year and would recommend anybody to go here. The only downfall was the website in my preparing to go. It needs a little more information on what you need to bring. But that was not enough to ruin my experience I still give it five stars.
Jul 10, 2019 · Duane RuckerThis is a great place for Cub Scouts and they have wonderful programming to keep the kids busy. I would give it 5 stars but the outhouses are so bad that I've got to reserve a star.
