Injun Joe Campground is conveniently located at 14113 Clemens Dr, New London, MO 63459, USA. Its proximity to downtown Hannibal, a mere few minutes' drive away, is a significant advantage for campers looking to explore the rich history and attractions associated with Mark Twain. This allows for easy day trips to sites like the Mark Twain Boyhood Home & Museum, the Mark Twain Cave, and the various shops and eateries that line Hannibal’s historic Main Street. Furthermore, the campground offers excellent access to the Mississippi River, opening up opportunities for fishing, boating, or simply enjoying the river views.
Accessibility to Injun Joe Campground is straightforward, as it's located directly off US Highway 61. For RVers, the campground features flat terrain with scattered trees, and while specific site details may vary, many sites are designed to accommodate RVs up to 50 feet in length, with options for 30 and 50 amp electric hookups. The internal roads are noted as being gravel, typical for a campground of this nature. However, a past review from 2022 mentioned "dangerous" road access from Highway 61, specifically "no right" which might imply a tricky turn or lack of proper signage for a safe entry. While current conditions may have improved, it's advisable for visitors, especially those with larger rigs, to approach with caution and consult recent maps or satellite views. The close proximity to the highway means some road noise might be present, but many find it manageable, particularly when enjoying the amenities or the quiet of their own campsite.

Injun Joe Reviews
This was a few years ago now as of May 2023. Curious of how the place looks.Very nice people that are taking care of the place. We've been stopping in here for several years now and have watched the infastructure deteriorate. Was told new owners are on the way, so we expect some great improvements. It's still a nice campground (we have never had any issues here), a good safe place to hang out a couple of days and relax. It's really close to downtown Hannibal and river access.
