Indian Head Campground Reviews
What a great way to spend a weekend, My family stayed on site A2 with a tent for 2 nights. The staff was great responding to any issues we had. They even upgraded our site for free due to low occupancy on the better site (This was opening weekend for them). My kids loved the play ground as well as the nightly hayride. Being so close to the water was great as the kids explored the beach area where my son skipped stones and my daughter found a toad friend. They also loved riding their bikes abound the campground. We stopped at this campground to spend a day at Knobles; And for the price difference and size of site you get at Indian head, it makes me wonder why anyone would stay on site while this campground is only 15 mins away. Not sure when we will make our way back up to Knobles, but when we do we will stay here again.
May 05, 2025 · Ryan GatchelCamped here a couple years ago and definitely looking forward to coming back in the near future. Staff was very friendly and plus there's a nice area to launch kayaks or boats from.
May 31, 2025 · mike hassenplugPerfect RV park in a perfect location! The staff is super friendly and extraordinarily helpful. I was en route to New England and had some truck trouble so I searched the area for a place to put the camper and was lucky enough to find this great park. Upon check-in I inquired about diesel mechanics in the area and the young man working the desk went out of his way to connect me to a great local mechanic, Freddy, who got me on my way in a day. Thanks again to everyone!
Oct 15, 2024 · PaulOur favorite campground! It's close to the Bloomsburg fair grounds and Knobles, on the Susquehanna, very well maintained, and family owned! We have met the nicest people at this campground. And the family that owns it is absolutely fantastic in every way! They make everyone feel welcome. We have been to many campground, but this BY FAR is the best!
Oct 01, 2024 · AdrienneWe were attending a conference in Bloomsburg and also visiting with friends who were traveling in a motorhome so we decided to take our travel trailer to Indian Head CG so that we could visit with them. The location was pretty and also very convenient to where our conference was. The full hook-up sites were a bit narrow but well-appointed with cement pad, picnic table, fire ring, and, of course, electric, water, sewer. The owner was both accommodating and nice to talk with. We were there Wednesday through Friday so it was quiet. Also, a nice area to take a walk. If we need to camp around Bloomsburg again, we’ll come here.
