Hub City RV Introduce
Welcome to **Hub City RV Park**, a value-driven and community-oriented campground managed by the City of Yoakum, Texas. Strategically located in the region known as the "Hub" of South Central Texas, this park is much more than just a place to park your RV—it is a launchpad to enjoying the extensive amenities of the adjacent Yoakum City Park and an affordable base for exploring the local economy and culture.
Offering a variety of sites, including seventeen pull-through and thirty-three back-in spots, Hub City RV Park is primarily focused on providing flexible and cost-effective lodging for travelers, including attractive senior discounts and affordable monthly rates. It provides full hookups—water, sewer, and electric (both 30-amp and 50-amp)—making it suitable for all sizes of recreational vehicles up to 60 feet in length. The park also uniquely welcomes tent campers, with one customer noting, “Excellent tent camping. I rode in on a bicycle with my little dog, and we both had a fine time,” underscoring its versatility.
As a city-owned facility, the surrounding 150-acre park complex is a major draw. Guests are a short walk from a nine-hole municipal golf course, a fishing pond, and a brand-new playground area, ensuring there are plenty of activities for every member of the family. The management is committed to providing service, as evidenced by a recent review noting a change in utility connection protocol: “The Officer that helped us was very nice and informative. 👍👍”
While the park’s popularity has led to a mix of short-term travelers and long-term residents, leading to occasional maintenance concerns like cleanliness in restrooms or tidiness around some long-term sites, the park's low rates and prime location next to the city park’s amenities keep it a highly valuable choice for many Texans. One family, who camps here regularly to visit relatives, highlighted their loyalty and support for the area: "We spend on average $500.00 per visit in Yoakum. Mostly at HEB (food and Gas) and DQ. We try to help your local economy when we are there." This reflects the strong connection between the campground and the local Yoakum community.
Hub City RV Park is conveniently located just two miles from downtown Yoakum, allowing for easy access to local shops, grocery stores like H-E-B, and restaurants. Yoakum is centrally situated in South Central Texas, making it an excellent stopover point for travelers driving between major metropolitan areas like Austin, San Antonio, and Houston.

April 20 · Mike AustinLots of "long term residents " have an excessive amout of trash around their RVs. Park needs to be cleaned out. Maybe if the local law enforcement came around a few times a day6 months later:City has made a change. You now have to call and request someone to come out and unlock the electricity box for you. The Officer that helped us was very nice and informative. 👍👍This park could really benefit by having a Park Hosts camped at the entrance of the park. The restrooms were not clean. Someone has removed the shower heads from the lady's showers. We camp here because we have family in the Home across the street. We spend on average 500.00 per visit in Yoakum. Mostly at HEB (food and Gas) and DQ. We try to help your locak economy when we are there. We plan to be back around August 4th, to go to St. Joseph's Church Picnic.See ya there
June 28 · Marie GuardiolaSpent a week here. There is a circle of paved sites that are full hookup 30amp. Separate from the park are about 20 sites that are full hookup 50amp but are on grass. We parked in the 50amp area and were concerned about soft spots especially after half inch of rain. The entrance to the 50amp area has a drop off from the highway blacktop and then a steep decline. We will have to leave by driving across the grass to the 30amp area because it'll too much stress trying to drive the coach out the way we came in. Nice stay, prices very fair, although road noise during the daylight hours. Update - yes it was soft. Coach front wheels had to be placed on boards to get out. Then stay off all the grass.
January 30 · Dallas ThompsonA great city RV campground. We enjoyed the night, definitely a great place to spend a night or two.
