★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1A quick over night stay while traveling. Made reservations on line. Sites are quite large and open. Concrete picnic tables many on slabs. Paved sites are nearly level and clearly marked. Bathrooms and shower rooms are separate. They are a bit old school. Alittle run down but clean.
May 11 · Pete ZielinskiThis is definitely a park that favors rvs/campers, so if you tent camp, you may feel a bit out of place. That being said, the spots were clean, the bathrooms were very well maintained, and there was water/electric at every spot. The lake does not currently exist due to dam repairs, so the views are largely a slowly greening valley, but it is still lovely. Not quiet, spaces aren't super far apart so you will be aware of your neighbors activities.
March 30 · Carolyn FreeGreat quiet place. The lake was drained when we were there to repair dam. We sat and watched Eagles everyday.
July 12 · Bruce ThomasLake is currently in a mostly drained status. Most of the park is closed. Camping areas are open. Cano sites are well taken care of. Clean restrooms.
March 09 · Michael EzellThe Corps can do better!!! I know because I used to be a volunteer for several. Nowhere was the alert made to tell campers that there is very little water in the lake! A bag of poop and trash was left at our site and it was a little tight for our 34’ fifth wheel. Long enough but the roads and driveway are narrow. It could be a 5 star park if it was better taken care of.
