Hanson Hills Campground Reviews
We came across this campground by coincidence and were very happy that we did. It's a nice quiet place with a very helpful staff. Decent shower facilities, beautiful setting, and close to the Renaissance Faire. We didn't even know about the Ren Faire until we drove past the grounds on the way to the campground. We were extremely lucky that there was a cancelation right before we arrived, or we wouldn't have gotten a space AND wouldn't have been able to attend the Faire. There was lots of space to walk our dogs, other campers were very friendly, and we had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and would return.
May 23, 2025 · Roger EngelbartWe just got home from our first trip to Hanson Hills and couldn't be more pleased with our experience! Beautiful campground, super helpful staff, and very clean! We will absolutely be back and highly recommend!
May 05, 2025 · PR IIWe have been traveling for about 6 years in our fifth wheel. This is absolutely the worst campground we've ever stayed at!!!! First off...getting here was a nightmare. Once you get off I70 there's a dirt/gravel road you have to take for 1 1/2 miles. Be Careful, most of it is washed out!!! We were going to turn around, but you can't. Took us 15 minutes to go 1 1/2 miles. We got into our spot around 6:30. After traveling all day, we were tired. There was a group of around 15 people beside us that started playing loud music and singing as loud as they could!!!! I called the office and they said quiet time was at 11. So, we had to listen to this for 4 1/2 hours!!!!! We tried to drown it out by turning the TV up to the max, but didn't help much. Needless to say, this place is #1 on our Never to return list!!!!
Jun 08, 2025 · Greta HollowayI only stayed 1 night for the Renaissance Faire nearby. The owner/staff was kind enough to let me check in super early before the fair started instead of in the afternoon or later. I will be staying again.
