Hanna Park Campground Reviews
We are delighted with this park! Lots of parking no matter what time you arrive at the park, barbecue areas are scattered throughout the park, everyone will find their own table and corner. A paradise for children, swings, fountain area, it's a miracle in this heat. Catamaran and kayak rental, but be careful, there is an alligator in the water, I saw it with my own eyes! Oh, it's scary! You can buy ice cream and snacks, water and juices, it's a pity that there is no variety, this is a minus, but you can bring everything with you for a picnic. The presence of a shower and restroom pleased. Fishing for the patient is also present, there are many places, but luck smiles not on everyone! We found this park by chance and are very happy with this discovery. We will explore it, because it is large and there are many secret places. Load your fishing rods, food for a picnic, your family into the car and go on vacation!
Jun 23, 2025 · Радмила ТеслаWe really enjoyed all the park has to offer. We rode our ebikes everywhere. Just wish they had more bike racks. No golf carts allowed, which was nice. Our camp site was not big enough to let our awning out completely, but we made it work.Having the lake to go kayaking was extremely nice. It will get you closer to the birds. It was relaxing. They have paddle boats & kayaks you can rent, but we had our own. Make sure to bring those life jackets. We took many ebike rides on the beach. Once in the morning and once at night. Spent time looking for shells, seeing sun sets, & a couple of sun rises. There's a Cuban food truck during the weekend. The food was amazing and so worth the price. There's a general store, a nature center, a couple of play grounds, splash pad, laundry facilities, hiking trails, bike trails, picnic area, picnic tables, grills & a bunch of host if you have issues, which we did not.If family oriented is what you are looking for, then I would highly suggest this camp ground.
Jul 01, 2025 · Melissa MounseyA nice, older park very close to the beach. The campground was in the shade of the maritime hammock. It was noticeably cooler under this canopy. The roads, especially in each row, are two way but very narrow. Take your time as you navigate your way to/from your campsite especially with your RV. The bathhouses were older, but clean. You can walk or drive to the beach, lake, and splash zone. There are several mountain bike loops and a hiker only loop. There was a campground store. There was also a nature center but it was only open on Friday and Saturday from 1:00-4:00 PM. On Saturday and Sunday there was a Cuban food truck next to the campground store. The food was excellent.
Jun 09, 2025 · The Princess and The TrollWe stayed at Hanna Park Campground for 4 nights in February. We were on site 33, a drive through, full service. This park is amazingly beautiful. From the palm trees to the beach. The trees overhang each other like your in the Amazon. Never saw a gator but did see an Armadillo on a walk with my dog. Everything was amazing. Never met one grumpy person. All the staff were very helpfull. The sand on the beach goes from hard packed by the water to almost talcum powdery then to gritty sand on the dunes. Never saw a Gator but did have an Armadillo as a neighbor. The sea fog that rolled in while we were there was a site to see. Just cant say enough good things. We will for sure be back.
Feb 22, 2025 · Bob CainThis is one of our favorite places to camp on FL. So much shade and most campsites feel private. Proximity to the wonderful beach where dogs are permitted is an extreme plus.
