The fact that the business is women-owned also adds a unique and personal touch, contributing to this warm and inviting vibe.
The on-site amenities, especially the Blue Line Grill, are a huge plus. The convenience of having a place to get a good, hot meal without having to leave the campground is invaluable. Additionally, the pet-friendly policy, which allows dogs, means you don't have to leave a beloved family member behind. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Sent an email about renting the cyclone RV for three nights. Never received a reply to the email. A few days later. We went to the area to check it out. See if we wanted to stay. For a 4 day vacation. And gold panning experience. When we got there. We decided to stay for lunch. The waitress was a younger girl. And was nice, I guess. She wasn’t mean but lacked any personality at all. She didn’t even smile. Service was a what do you want kind of attitude. The food we ordered was good for the most part. The burgers were great. They were seasoned well and cooked to order. The fired mushrooms although store bought. Were cooked well and hot to the table. My fries could have used a little work. Overall, not a bad food experience. Definitely a lot of food for the price paid. Left a $20 tip on a $30 order. Thinking maybe they just didn’t get many people up there. After lunch we inquired about the RV and were told. That “he” has it. And it’s not for rent. And nothing else was said. So, we asked about the cabin. And got yeah, we have one. Short quick answers. With no other details. At that point we decided to leave. We were seriously considering staying here. Until we couldn’t get any real answers. And I felt like we were pulling teeth to get what we did get.It was a clean looking place. However, we will not be back. To pan or to stay at the campground. They are really proud of “The Hammer” and they should be. Too bad he passed. Have a feeling he was the life of the campground.
July 14 · John KoetsierThis is a very excellent campground. Clean restrooms and showers. The blue line grill is great food and the band on Saturday night were very good. The at the campground were very friendly and helpful. Will be going back soon.
October 07 · London BrownWe stayed in the bell tent. We got in later than we expected and it was great to only have to set up our bedding. Website says it is unfurnished so we were suprised to find 2 cots (which the kids loved) and 2 small tables with lanterns. The host and her employees were all extremely friendly and helpful. I wish the wifi had picked up at the tent but it was a short walk (or drive) around the corner if I needed to check email or make calls. Nice! Quiet! Right on the creek! Will definitely stay again!
July 06 · C RSuper friendly staff and possibly the best hamburger I’ve ever eaten
