Great Northern Campground Reviews
Sites are too close and very difficult to back into. Would have been nicer if the gravel pad was at an angle instead of perpendicular to the road. Zero privacy at the site. Too many dogs. Some positives: the campground is very small so you can easily walk to the pond, office, bathroom, etc. There are porta potties in addition to the bathroom at the office. The office staff is very friendly. Lots of pine trees so the sites are pretty shaded. Many things for kids to do. There's Cedar Crest ice cream available in the office - yum! Nice, clean, and fairly quiet campground.
Jun 22, 2025 · Denise KlempWeird Fee Structure. You can only use the dump station once or pay a fee. There is a fee to use their showers, despite not having full hookups. The roads leading to the campsites are narrow and can get muddy in the rain. The pond was a nice touch.

Jun 20, 2025 · Joe TaboneVery nice campground. This was our second time here and I do believe we will keep this as one of our favorites. Pond area is really nice, the camp sites are large.
Sep 02, 2024 · Beth SchwantesMy wife and our dog spent a night here as we were passing through. We were pleasantly surprised with this place. It is immaculately taken care of with lots of space and activities. The bathrooms and showers were excellent. We would not hesitate to stay here again and would recommend it to anyone.
