Location and Accessibility
Grassy Islands South - K9 Campsite is specifically located on an island within Kabetogama Lake, one of the four large interconnected lakes that form the heart of Voyageurs National Park. Grassy Islands South - K9 Campsite Reviews
I loved this island! The tent sites are up on the hill and have wonderful views. The entire island is covered in raspberries and blue berries, and there is a family of wood ducks who hang out on the shore by the table. The paddle in was pretty easy, but I wouldn't recommend it to someone not used to open water. The landing is on the western side of the island and a little more protected from the wind.
