Grant River Recreation Area

4.0
Great camping, site flat, most have concrete pads. 4 stars because of the trains.Water sources are plentful, many sites have access to water, you may need a long hose depending on your site. The train tracks are loud, and trains go 24 hours, and the horns blow. However, when no trains are very quiet, there is no light pollution. Gnats were bad in late May.Easy into Potosi, check out the Breweries, and shop across the street. The Driftless area is great to explore. - J K
