Grand Haven Resort Reviews
Not impressed. Felt like we were targeted. Got in trouble for my kids going on "private property". Absolutely not true. We are not those type of parents. My kids always stay within my sight and we follow all the rules. We got in trouble again for my kids allegedly going into other campsites. Not true whatsoever. My kids are very well behaved. This campground isn't kept up very well at all. The office is ran by clueless people. Bathrooms are nasty. They advertise a hot tub but it doesn't exist. They have a kid pool that is broken and empty. They have a heated pool that has no heat. Just overall bad experience and we wouldn't ever go back.
Jun 09, 2025 · Eric WatsonOur first and last time here. We reserved what looked like a large lot. It was NOT! The dirt was super soft, the lots VERY unlevel to the point that our camper literally tipped when trying to get it level. Thought it was going to fall on its side. Went to the store to ask if there was another site available due to this. Was told there was but WE had to call the 800 # to ask. Yeah right. Don’t even bother trying to call them. “Call volume is high, we will call you back” nope. We called Friday and it’s Sunday and they never did call. We made the best of it. The lots need to be cleared more. Think they need to hire more grounds crew. Our friends had to ask someone to mow their spot because the weeds were knee high and were met with attitude. The pool is NOT heated. And only one of the 2 was even open. Go karts are not free, but mini golf is. Overall, it was a quiet campground but due to the uneven, unmowed, unkept lots and not being able to get answers or help, we won’t be back. Oh…and let’s not forget to mention that there are not enough water spigots for each camper. A guy 2 lots down from us had to use ours because he didn’t even have one.
Jun 15, 2025 · Lisa KeeneyMe and cousins got in trouble for crossing the side walk on roller blades to get to the grass. and a kid got hurt at the park and Manager Chris. was walking to the kid and looked at us and didn't even go to the kid and came running and screaming at us he had nothing on to tell he was a manager so all of us started yelling. he came to me and showed me a walkytalky that said manager. he took me to a bench and would not let me go to my campsite so I started screaming for help. my parents came. and he lied about every thing he said. didn't have a picture on his badge. Leasa D helped him lie and wasn't even there. Leasa D also said that my cousin couldn't go on a bike ride without an adult. Which wasent even in the rule book. If it wasn't for that, camping with my family would have been ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ⭐. Nolan, Age 9
