What an amazing slice of Minnesota! My boyfriend and I came to stay a weekend and fish in the many numerous lakes close by. Nicole answered all our questions before arriving and upon arrival made us feel welcome. As you drive past the corn fields you find yourself in the middle of a MN prairie surrounded by trees. The camp sites are far enough away from each other that you are not bothered by others if that is what you like. The views from every site are amazing! The wildlife comes right up to your camp. Water, firewood, shower and porta potties are included in the stay. We had a great fire both nights and loved the star gazing. We will definitely be back! - Heather Beedy

Its inherent appeal to local users stems from its thoughtful design, natural setting, and the focus on core camping pleasures.

Firstly, the unparalleled sense of seclusion and privacy offered by the "spread apart" campsites directly addresses a common desire among campers to avoid overcrowded areas. In a state where popular campgrounds can sometimes feel bustling, finding a place where "your neighbors are not right on top of you" is a significant draw. This allows for genuine relaxation, undisturbed wildlife viewing right from your site, and the chance to truly soak in the "wide open country" and breathtaking "views from every site."

Secondly, the campground's unique setting – "in the middle of a MN prairie surrounded by trees" – offers a different kind of natural beauty than our abundant lake-heavy options. This allows campers to enjoy the rustic feel without completely roughing it. Moreover, its convenient proximity to "many numerous lakes close by" ensures that those who love fishing or water sports have easy access to these activities, perfectly blending the tranquility of the prairie with the aquatic fun of Minnesota's lakes. God's Country Camping isn't just a place to stay; it's an opportunity for Minnesotans to truly experience the peaceful, wild heart of our state in comfort and privacy, making it a place you will "definitely be back!"
