The Evergreen State Fairgrounds RV2 Campground provides a set of essential services designed to make your camping experience comfortable and hassle-free. While it may not offer all the bells and whistles of a luxury resort, its focus on practicality and core amenities makes it a solid choice for many campers.
- Powered Sites: A significant number of the available sites at RV2 Campground are powered, allowing campers to connect to electricity for their RVs. This is a crucial amenity for operating appliances, charging devices, and ensuring a comfortable interior climate, especially for those utilizing larger RVs or staying for multiple nights. The cost for a powered site is approximately $35 per night, which is considered a reasonable rate for the services provided.
- Water Taps: In addition to power, water taps are available at the sites, providing convenient access to fresh water for your RV's tanks or general use. This eliminates the need to carry large quantities of water, simplifying your setup and ensuring a steady supply during your stay.
- Porta-Loos: For immediate restroom needs within the campground area, several porta-loos are provided. While these are basic facilities, they offer a convenient option for quick access without having to walk a significant distance.
- Shower Block Access: Campers at RV2 Campground are granted access to a dedicated shower block. This is a highly valued amenity, especially for those seeking to refresh after a day of activities or simply preferring a more extensive cleaning facility than their RV might offer. It's worth noting, as some past visitors have mentioned, that these facilities might be a short walk from the main campground area and have specific hours of operation or might be locked overnight, so it's always good to confirm access details upon arrival.
- Friendly Camp Host: Many visitors have highlighted the presence of a friendly and accommodating camp host. This on-site personnel can provide assistance with check-in, answer questions, and generally contribute to a welcoming atmosphere, making the arrival process smoother, especially for those without a prior reservation.
- Cash Payment Option: The campground readily accepts cash payments, offering flexibility for those who prefer not to use cards or who arrive without a reservation. This can be particularly convenient for spontaneous trips.
- No Reservation Needed (Often): While reservations are always recommended for popular times, the campground often has plenty of spots available, even for walk-ins without a prior booking, particularly outside of major fair events. This provides a great option for last-minute camping plans.
The Evergreen State Fairgrounds RV2 Campground boasts several features and highlights that contribute to its appeal as a camping destination in Washington. These aspects make it a unique and practical choice for various types of campers.

The spaciousness also allows for greater privacy between campers, a desirable quality for many.
- Proximity to Fairgrounds Events: Being located directly on the Evergreen State Fairgrounds means campers have unparalleled access to the numerous events hosted there throughout the year, beyond just the annual fair. This includes various expos, festivals, and specialized shows. For those attending an event, the RV2 Campground offers the ultimate convenience, eliminating the need for daily commutes and parking hassles.
- Adjacent to Race Track Action: For motorsports enthusiasts, the campground's proximity to a neighboring race track is a significant draw. As noted by a past visitor, experiencing the excitement of car races streaming in on a Saturday night can be an unexpected and entertaining highlight of a stay. - Affordable Accommodation: At approximately $35 per night for a powered site, the Evergreen State Fairgrounds RV2 Campground offers a very competitive rate, especially when compared to many private RV parks or state parks with similar amenities. This affordability makes it an attractive option for budget-conscious travelers or those planning longer stays.

The Evergreen State Fairgrounds RV2 Campground stands out as an excellent option for locals across Washington for several compelling reasons. Firstly, its sheer accessibility from major population centers like Seattle, Everett, and surrounding communities makes it an effortless weekend escape or a convenient stopover. You don't have to venture far into the wilderness to find a practical and affordable place to park your RV or set up camp. This ease of access significantly reduces travel time and stress, allowing more time to actually enjoy your trip.
Secondly, the campground's connection to the Evergreen State Fairgrounds means there's almost always something happening nearby. For Washington residents, attending local fairs, expos, and specialized events is a common pastime. Having a comfortable and close place to stay eliminates the hassle of day-tripping or searching for expensive hotel accommodations. Imagine being able to attend a concert, an antique show, or even the annual Evergreen State Fair, and simply walk back to your RV just a short distance away. This integration with local events truly makes it an extension of the community's recreational offerings.
Furthermore, the value proposition is hard to beat. At around $35 a night for a powered site with water access and shower facilities, it offers significantly more amenities and space than many urban hotel rooms or even some basic campsites in more remote areas. This affordability is a key factor for families and individuals in Washington looking to maximize their leisure budget without sacrificing comfort or convenience. The large, spacious sites also appeal to those who appreciate a bit of personal space and don't want to feel crammed in, which is often a challenge at more densely packed campgrounds.
While some might point to the occasional noise from the neighboring racetrack, for many Washingtonians, this is simply part of the local character and can even add an element of excitement to the stay, especially for those who enjoy motorsports. It's a trade-off that many are willing to make for the overall convenience and affordability. The presence of a friendly camp host also adds a personal touch, making campers feel welcome and supported during their stay.
In conclusion, for Washington residents seeking a straightforward, affordable, and well-located camping experience that integrates seamlessly with local events and attractions, the Evergreen State Fairgrounds RV2 Campground is an undeniably suitable choice. It’s not just a campground; it’s a practical gateway to enjoying what Snohomish County and the broader Washington region have to offer, making it a true asset for the local community.

Evergreen State Fairgrounds RV2 Campground Reviews
Evergreen fairground RV2 park was a great stay!Initially we went to the wrong entrance (RV1) park for equestrian use, but then found the address on the website. It was tucked away a little down the road on the left. We were greeted by the friendly camp host and paid cash for 2 nights! ( we did not have a reservation). There were plenty of spots free. The sites are huge! We paid 35 a night for a powered site. Also a water tap. There are 2 porta-loos, and we also got access to a shower block! There was a racing event on the Saturday night at the neighbouring race track and it was fun to see the cars stream in! Would recommend!
Jul 29, 2024 · AndrewNoisy, unattractive and broken down. No functional dump station. Loudspeakers, loud events and car races going on until late in the night next door. The bathrooms are a hike from the campground and when you get there - surprise! They are locked up at night. Wouldn’t come again.
Jun 06, 2025 · Matthew PhilpottThis park has seen better days. It is sorely lacking in all maintenance. Electric boxes are green and slimy with mold. Garbage is thrown by bag full into the hedges. No functioning rv dump. This place is a DUMP. Race track adjacent so on weekends, you will be hard pressed to hear conversation or tv. LOUD!WARNING: Giant tire eating pothole at only entry and exit from park. Extremely hard to avoid due to turning radius.
May 21, 2025 · Michelle HenriksonTypical fairgrounds camping on a large gravel lot with water and electric hookups. No picnic tables or fire rings. Bathroom and showers with keypad entry are available adjacent to the campground for no additional fee. Full hookups were $35 per night in 2023. The on-site host was very pleasant and helpful. With a location that is perfect for those passing through or anyone attending an event at the fairgrounds, this is a convenient and economical overnight option that will easily accomodate any size rig.
May 17, 2023 · Ben BrannonWent yesterday to check out the Oddmall holiday emporium event. It for the most part was pretty good. Lots of unusual Christmas themed gifts as well as merchandise in general. Seems to be a good venue for local artist and craftspeople from around the north west. I was surprised at the scale of the event. Looked to be around 150 different venders turned out for this years show.
