Emerald Creek Campground Reviews
Nice grounds. Several bathrooms, toilets with TP no running water. Quite a few available spots, mine was right next to a little stream that had some garnet sand. The table, fire pit, & bbq grill are nice. Beautiful area!
Jun 17, 2024 · Jay ClouserI really wanted to go here on Labor Day but they were closed. Made me very sad
Jun 18, 2025 · John MillerMosquitos were really bad in the middle of July. Made some soup and the yellowjackets came by. So the insects were much worse here compared to a different camping spot we stayed at several dozen miles away around the same time. This one is named for a creek but the campground is not on a creek, you have to drive to it. Had a good spot for the tent though and lots of shade.
Jul 26, 2024 · JI wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Yes, it was beautiful scenery, but the mosquitos will absolutely eat you alive. Doesn't matter if you have mosquito spray and a fire. Will definitely NOT go back!
Jul 14, 2024 · Crystal EagleNot a bad campground near the Emerald Creek Garnet Area. Had a few campsites and a toilet. So it's not too primitive. Wildlife all around. Make sure you check your site for bees prior to committing to which site you take. $15 per night when we went there. Small garnets in the creek right by the site if you brought some sifting equipment .
