Elk Neck State Park Campground

95 Campground Rd, North East, MD 21901, USA

4.0
Our large family booked 3 sites for 4 days and it was awful!! The tent sites are very small with wooden rails road ties. You are not permitted to go outside the parameter at all. There's one narrow paved driveway for each site and if you have 2 vehicles make sure you don't park on the grass. Not even a couple tires. The rangers will be on you like white on rice. Also, there's a camp patrolman who lives on each loop and they stand there and watch you, hands on hips. You will be watched 24/7. Nothing for kids to do but a small playground. We are a quiet family so we abided by the strict quiet time hours. The camp store had nothing. We needed to go into town for supplies. All in all I give it a one. Very disappointed. Buyer beware! - Nora Smith

Promotions or Special Offers

As a Maryland State Park campground, Elk Neck State Park operates under the pricing and reservation system set by the Maryland Department of Natural Resources (DNR). Direct "promotions" or "special offers" in the commercial sense (like discount codes or buy-one-get-one deals) are typically not offered.

However, the inherent value of camping at a state park often lies in its affordability compared to private campgrounds or other lodging options, especially for Maryland residents who typically benefit from lower resident rates for park entry and camping fees. To find the most accurate pricing, check availability, and make reservations, it is essential to visit the Maryland DNR's official website for park reservations. This platform provides real-time availability and pricing based on site type, season, and residency status. It's also advisable to book well in advance, especially for popular weekends and during peak season (April 1 to November 30), as sites can fill up quickly. Any updates regarding fees or policies would be communicated through the official DNR channels.
