LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! My daughter and I took our first solo camping trip without Dad. I felt so comfortable here. Its very peaceful and safe. The sites are really nice and spacious. LOts of flat spots for tents. Love the bear safe food storage. The river is peaceful and great for kids as there is a lovely little beach that is good for little ones to splash around in. There is a good 10 ft into the water thats nice and sandy so bare feet are ok. There are other areas that are more rocky also and then further in the river it gets deep and lots of plants. Fun to watch the jumping fish. Ione itself is super small but had what we needed. The Food court there is good and has excellent ice cream. Really love the red bridge there. I will definitely go again. - Anna Miller
