May 09, 2025 · Milinda EfawThis is jist a great location! Right on the river. The sound will lull you to sleep. Bring your horse, bring your bike, hike the Allegheny Trail, enjoy Durbin and Pocahontas County! It's just beautiful here :)
Apr 27, 2025 · Jennifer BunnerThis campground was in pristine condition!! Even through the heavy rains, no mud or puddles. Grass was well maintained. Showerhouse was exceptionally clean. Very quiet along the river. The only downfall was sorry to say, the Wi Fi sucked! Having only WiFi available since it's in a quiet zone because of the observatory nearby, it was the only way to be informed or make a phone call. In a paperless society, you are forced to have internet. Very bad storms in the area would've liked to stay informed. Other than that I highly recommend !
Jun 17, 2025 · cindy lyonWe booked East Fork Campground this past fall weekend visit to ride the train in Cass. We had a fantastic experience at this campground! From the moment we arrived, Jonathan, the owner, warmly welcomed us and made us feel right at home. One of the highlights was having firewood delivered directly to our campsite, which made our evenings by the fire even more enjoyable. The grounds were nicely maintained and quiet, providing a perfect backdrop for relaxation. The soothing sound of the nearby river added to the serene atmosphere, making it easy to unwind.Durbin is a small town, but the warmth of the community truly stood out. Everyone we met was friendly and welcoming, which enhanced our stay even further. Breakfast at nearby Simply Sweet Cafe was delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would definitely return!
Oct 16, 2024 · Christina SwisherWe do a lot of camping and this is the nicest campground we have ever stayed at. The sites still had grass even at the end of the season. They were clean and generously spaced. We tent camp but none of the RVs seemed to have issues pulling in or out. The managers were incredibly helpful and kind. It is very close to many of WV's best attractions and we loved the trains. It is nestled in a perfect valley and we could even see the milky way at night.
