East Fork Bear River Campground Reviews
Spent 2 nights at this campground. It’s a paid camp that costs $22/night and $12/ for day use. Camp site #2 is where we camped and at first we thought we had the worst site but since it was the only one available we took it. The following day the other campers left and we considered moving to a site that was further from the campgrounds main road. After walking the length of the campground we discovered our site was actually one of the better sites. It was the only site that had its picnic table under a tree providing shelter from the sun and rain. And our river access was the easiest and closest. We camped with our 2 dogs without any problems. The restroom/outhouse was clean and a short walk from camp and the water fountain even closer. Weekdays are assumably less crowded however our night camping over the weekend was still quiet. There’s a store maybe a half mile down the highway where you can order fast grill type food, buy ice and basic amenities. If you are looking for a paid campground this is a nice location.
August 17 · Bound by wild thingsSuch a beautiful camp ground. Kid friendly.Bathroom and Water. The camp host were super nice and friendly. Landscape is amazing. Beware of Mosquitoes and ticks. There is a store and lodge about 5 min drive.
July 12 · beck hermVery beautiful but very crowded spot.
June 06 · Tim HaywardI really liked this campground! Every site is set right against the river's edge so they are all beautiful. There were so few sites it felt secluded. Some may complain how close the main road is but it's up a really steep hill and for our family of small kids (ages 4, 2, and 6 mos) it was nice to have a quick exit. The cars driving by weren't exceptionally loud either. The bathrooms were well taken care of and there is a spigot with potable water so you don't have to worry about hauling a bunch in. The nightly fee is $18 and it is self pay so bring exact change unless you feel like donating a couple extra dollars to the forest service.
September 29 · Kimberly HallAs a Boy Scout we came up here every summer to hike and fish and mess around in the woods.Awesome place to vacation. Take coats though. It can freeze even snow in summertime at 9500 feet.
