This is our second time at this campground and compared to 7 years ago something must have changed. It wasn’t the views, because the lake is wonderful! Whoever is in charge of the bathrooms really needs to make it more of a routine to clean. I’m not trying to throw shade, I know these are obviously campground bathrooms. Very thankful they are flush toilets. I was not expecting warm water (which there wasn’t any), but no soap and they were just generally very dirty and when we first arrived one of the stalls was completely out of paper. Thankfully I had brought some from home. My husband had to visit the camp hosts to bring attention to the men’s restroom as the only toilet was almost overflowing from another guest. The camp host seemed annoyed and did not fix it until the next day. The camp area is very large, make sure to look at the map on the website and look over the pictures because every site is much different from one end to the other. We stayed in M which was pretty flat, but there were other areas that were much more sloped. Remember your bug spray when you come because being by the water there will naturally be more misquotes. Would have love to give this place a higher rating as the water is quite nice for boating, kayaking and what not and the campsites are nicely shaded with well built picnic tables and fire pits. The whole bathroom cleanliness and one of the water taps breaking while we were there really lowered my overall view of this campground. - Brigette Enright
