Dam Site Campground

AR-25, Heber Springs, AR 72543, USA

4.0
If I could leave zero stars i would, but unfortunately that's not an option. 1)Please read the fine print! Only a few of the sites actually have water hook ups! Normally this wouldn't be a big deal to us, but the bathrooms here are absolutely rancid smelling and full of spiders and bugs. Honestly, some of the worst I've seen. 2) claims to be pet friendly, but there seems to be no designated area for your pet to play or swim and the older lady that runs the place is a tyrant. She is one of the rudest human beings I've ever come into contact with! She almost didn't let my husband through the gate, despite the park pass hanging on his mirror because " she didnt think he was staying there" she patrols the place like border control so be aware! She basically ruined our entire trip and we will not ever be back. We saw her getting on to several people throughout a 4 day stay, and literally no one was doing ANYTHING wrong! I used to come camping here as a kid and I wanted to bring my family to enjoy it and we rarely came out to do anything at all! Wasted trip and days off. - Elisha Collins
