It’s an invitation to put down the devices, breathe in the crisp mountain air, and reconnect with nature and loved ones. With a variety of site options, from secluded tent spots to cabins, and a welcoming team of owners, Crawford Notch Campground offers a quintessential New Hampshire camping adventure that resonates deeply with local outdoor enthusiasts.

Crawford Notch Campground Reviews
Really love coming here with my family! Went camping here once before and will be going again in a couple of weeks! No phone service until you drive a few miles down the road! Great place to connect with nature
Jun 04, 2025 · Krista ChartrandBeen to this campground a handful of times. New owners are fine. A little odd, but more pleasant than the jerk who used to own the place. Clean sites. We stayed close to the river. Other campers were respectful. The dogs had a great time as well. Not much to complain about when you’re camping in the Whites. Wood is expensive ($10 a bundle) but drier than the wood we purchased off site.
Sep 26, 2024 · Evan MooreHigh quality campground! Incredible location, quiet and respectful ambiance, and well-maintained tent sites.I’ve been here 4-5 times over the past decade, staying at different sites each time - and each visit has been an entirely positive experience! As a tent-camper, there’s nothing worse than the noise from a generator or busy traffic waking you up and disturbing the vibe - that has never happened to me here. The tent sites are private with lots of foliage and the campground is pretty large and spread out.I’d recommend snagging a river side site if you can! There’s a few with views of the surrounding notch and mountains which are pretty spectacular, but they fill up way in advance.Another word to the wise: if you plan on arriving late (past 10pm) be sure to notify the staff so they can leave a key card for the gate, otherwise you will be hiking all your stuff to your site and parking at the gate!Very affordable for what it offers, and almost always sites available even during busy peak holiday weekends, which is much appreciated considering public campgrounds tend to book up so quickly.Highly recommend!
Sep 07, 2024 · sean lemkeyThis is such a beautiful and peaceful campground! I've stayed here many times and it's never disappointed - the sites are all equipped with a picnic table and fire pit, have flat spots for tents, and you can easily pull your car right up to many of the spots for convenience. It's nice to have the bath house close by and hot water for showers and dishes.Aside from the grounds themselves, the owners of the campground who also operate the general store are extremely kind and accommodating. I needed to get my car towed and they were so helpful in helping me do so in a no-service zone. They did everything they could to help me out and truly went above and beyond to get me the help I needed. We'll certainly be back!
Jul 16, 2024 · Emma RellePleasantly surprised with how nice this campground was! The sites are clean and flat, great for tent camping. The bathrooms are cleaned daily and so much nicer than most campgrounds over been to. There is a trail down to the Saco river and a rocky shoreline, great for setting up chairs and going in the river. The shop has just about anything you could want while out camping or for day trips around the area. The prices were cheaper than I expected. Wood isn’t cheap but there are places in Bartlett down the road that are bigger bundles you can easily grab. Overall a great experience
